What is a Virtual / Online Interior Designer?

An online interior designer can provide all the services that a ‘normal’ interior designer can give at a fraction of the price.

Online interior design allows you to create a space for your little one from the comfort of your own home. All correspondence with the interior designer will be done online so no need for you to leave the house!


How is an online interior design service different to the traditional service of an interior designer?

The service is slightly different than the traditional method as we do not have in person meetings. The client also need to take their own measurements & photos.

With online design you can choose from various packages to fit your needs and budget. A once-off flat fee is asked per package, thus you know how much it will cost up front, with no hidden extras or surprises along the way.


How does the process work?

The process is very easy: You fill in a questionnaire, send measurements & photo’s of the room(s) along with any inspirational images so we get a very good understanding of your style. Adding some notes in the questionnaire will help us to know what you would like to achieve from the space. After this process we get going with the designs.


What are the turnaround times?

We will always aim to have your designs back to you within 3 weeks of receiving your design fee payment & information (depending on the package chosen) but this is subject to change during busy periods.


Does it matter if I have a small budget for a space?

We believe that all the little one’s deserves a beautiful room/class and we do our very best to make our services more affordable and accessible than traditional interior design services.

Here at Mies Studio we want to cater for all kinds of budgets so everyone can still receive the same service with a beautiful outcome.

When you start the process, a questionnaire is filled out to get all the details, including your budget. The budget will lead us in the direction of which suppliers will fit within the certain price range.


What will happen if I don’t like the design?

We allow 1 alteration for the inspiration board and 1 alteration for the concept board. We are on call for up to 1 week after you received the design for any help or questions.

Filling in the questionnaire as detailed as possible & sending inspirational images is very important for the design process.
